About Partridge Digital Collections
The city of Partridge, Kansas was platted in 1886, but not incorporated until 1906. Never very large, the current population hovers around 250. But the size of a community never restricts the love of its people for their home. This love and the labor that goes with it are expressed in early settlers' diaries and in the work of one dedicated resident who left us a literal snapshot of the town's appearance in 1945.
